Together, they immersed themselves in the exciting world of intralogistics—from a comprehensive tour of our production facilities to hands-on experiences in our various departments.

Our young guests got to experience just how diverse and dynamic our work is. We were especially pleased that Simonetta, one of the participants, will even be presenting her day with us at school. We asked her three questions—and she openly shared what impressed and inspired her.

Interview with Simonetta—Future Day Reporter at Stöcklin

What did you enjoy most today?

What I enjoyed most was going into the staff restaurant’s kitchen. We got to flambé things ourselves, and that was really cool. I also enjoyed the tour of the high-bay warehouse. I found the automation in production very interesting—how everything moves and how everything has to be coordinated.

What moment will you remember most?

When we were eating at the restaurant, the head chef knew all of our names by heart. That was very nice and polite. I was also impressed by how motivated everyone was to showcase Stöcklin: the organizers, the parents, the project management team, the service desk, and Simona from marketing.

What did you learn about the professional world?

The many different career opportunities that Stöcklin offers: from business roles to culinary professions to technical apprenticeships such as plant engineering, polymechanics, and automation. I also got to see how people work here and what kinds of projects Stöcklin carries out all over the world.
