First FAT at the Stöcklin Technology Center
Together with Hermes Fulfilment GmbH from Germany, we conducted the first Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
“For us, the FAT is an excellent opportunity to inspect the automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) and the conveyor technology in advance, together with the electricians and mechanics who will later be working with the system. This gives us peace of mind throughout the project because we know exactly what to expect in December when the first stacker crane is installed in our logistics center in Haldensleben (Saxony-Anhalt) during ongoing operations.”

Such meetings are valuable for both sides: They lay the foundation for a successful implementation during ongoing operations.
Looking Ahead
The extended FAT will follow in October, before the installation of the first of a total of 61 MASTer storage and retrieval machines—including control systems and conveyor technology—is scheduled to take place at the logistics center in December.
