You bring machines to life – digitally, precisely, as part of a team.
You’re precise. You enjoy thinking in terms of shapes and spaces – but also in terms of numbers and measurements. You feel right at home behind a screen, but you’re just as happy rolling up your sleeves and getting to work in the shop. You find technical drawing and 3D visualizations exciting. Can you see yourself working in mechanical engineering, automation, plant engineering, or development in the future?
The design engineer apprenticeship at Stöcklin gives you a strong, broad foundation so you can hit the ground running after your apprenticeship.
A design engineer apprenticeship is a foundational training program where technical understanding and creativity come together. During your four years of apprenticeship at Stöcklin in Laufen, you’ll first learn the basics in our apprenticeship department – including a workshop internship – before specializing in plant engineering.
After your apprenticeship, all paths are open to you – whether you’re interested in a technical, research, or leadership role.
The design engineer apprenticeship is technical and precise – does it match your skills and interests?
To ensure you’re satisfied with your apprenticeship, stay motivated, and enjoy coming to work, it should be a good fit for your personality.
Find out what interests this career covers and what skills you should bring to the table.
