This year’s Stöcklin Customer Day 2026 focused entirely on innovative intralogistics, automated hospital logistics, and forward-looking artificial intelligence (AI).
The professional exchange began right on the platform and continued en route with our interactive “Roll-on Workshop”—right in the train compartment.
Upon arrival in Lausanne, the first professional highlight followed: a look at the efficient and forward-looking logistics at the CHUV (Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois). Silvia Hanhart (Director of Hospital Logistics) provided a compelling illustration of how hospital logistics have evolved.
Just how high-performance this solution is in detail—from our automated high-bay warehouse at the Plexus-Santé logistics center to the Stöcklin buffer warehouse at the CHUV with 5-tier stacker cranes (SRMs), which supplies 23 operating rooms around the clock with 2,000 items and fulfills rush orders in just 1.5 minutes—is also shown in our documentation on the CHUV.
Afterward, the group proceeded to the Plateforme 10 cultural complex, where a group lunch at the restaurant provided ample opportunity for informal discussion and networking. Refreshed and after an inspiring dose of art at the Photo Elysée photography museum, the next highlight of the program followed:
Dr. Daniela Suter’s “Inside AI” keynote presentation shed light on specific future scenarios as well as the potential of intelligent process control for our industry. Filled with new insights and engaged in final in-depth discussions, the participants finally set off on their journey home together.
