Together, they immersed themselves in the exciting world of intralogistics - from a varied production tour to real hands-on moments in our various departments.
Our young guests were able to experience how diverse and dynamic our work is. We were particularly pleased that Simonetta, one of the participants, will even be presenting her day with us, at school. We asked her three questions - and she spoke openly about what impressed and inspired her.
Interview with Simonetta - Future Day reporter at Stöcklin
What did you enjoy most today?
I enjoyed most going into the kitchen of the staff restaurant. We were able to make our own flambé and that was very cool. I also enjoyed visiting the high-bay warehouse. The automation in production very interesting - how everything moves and how everything has to be coordinated.
What moment stands out in your memory?
When eating at the restaurant, the chef knew all our names by heart. That was very nice and polite. I was also impressed that everyone was very motivated to present Stöcklin: the organizers, the parents, the project management, the service desk and Simona from marketing.
What did you learn about the working world?
The many different career opportunities that Stöcklin offers: from commercial and cooking professions to technical apprenticeships such as plant engineering, polymechanics and automation. I was also able to see how people work here and what kind of projects Stöcklin implements all over the world.
