Kindlimann AG is investing in a new location in the Canton of Thurgau. A new high-bay warehouse will be built in the Municipality of Tobel-Tägerschen and will commence operations in mid-2020. At the end of February 2019, Stöcklin Logistik AG won the bid to build the facility.

The two-aisle automatic high-bay warehouse is 20.5 meters (67.6 feet) high and has room for approx. 4,000 euro pallets. Separate areas are planned for the accessory and automotive warehouses. The automotive area is designed to fit 2,028 pallets, while the accessory warehouse has room for 1,950 pallets. Both storage areas will be operated with a MASTer 24 automatic aisle stacker. A telescopic fork is planned as the load handler to enable the double-depth storage of pallets. The scope of delivery includes a separate conveyor system for each area in the preliminary zone, including empty pallet stacks, to optimize admissions and extractions, as well as the material flow computer. This new building is part of Kindlimann’s continued effort to improve processing times in order to cope with increasing demands on product availability in future.
