Innovation made in Switzerland

28.11.2019

The Stöcklin Group is demonstrating its innovative strength at LogiMAT 2020 with two world firsts. The LiTex lithium battery, which can also be charged safely in ATEX zones, will be presented for the first time, as will an efficiency-enhancing solution for fully automatic order picking of fruit and vegetable containers, for which a patent has also been applied. At Stand 3B35 in Hall 3, you can also discover the Stöcklin DMA, which is now also available with an integrated telematics unit, and the further development of the EF transverse seat series.

Patented world first - ATEX Li-Ion energy package for floor handling equipment

Stöcklin has achieved what was previously impossible: With the in-house developed ATEX Li-Ion energy package for floor handling equipment, the advantages of the Li-Ion battery with intermediate charges can now also be used in the ATEX zone for the first time. According to the EU type examination certificate, the truck battery approved for gas and dust meets the requirements for use in potentially explosive areas (Ex zones 1 and 21).

Fully automatic order picking of containers in fresh areas

Stöcklin has optimized container handling in the fruit and vegetable sector with a further cutting-edge innovation. The automatic order picking system allows both non-returnable and returnable containers to be placed on store pallets directly from the article pallet in a single process, eliminating the need for time-consuming intermediate steps. Due to the reduced space requirement and permanently reduced operating costs, the investment pays for itself very quickly. The system solution consists of a depalletizer with a universal gripper, pre-stacker, special conveyor technology, sequencer, palletizer and winder.

Stöcklin DMA - Smart Data networking also for forklifts with Li-Ion energy package

The web-based statistics and monitoring tool StöcklinDMA now optionally supports the use of floor handling equipment with Li-Ion batteries. The integrated telematics unit provides a deeper view into the use of the device and thus creates clarity about the type of use, driving performance and operating time. At the same time, the DMA can be used for predictive maintenance. Relevant key figures can be retrieved and evaluated for either stationary or mobile. StöcklinDMA avoids downtimes and increases the availability of the devices.

Benchmark in its class - the proven EF transverse seat series

In terms of efficiency, Stöcklin has further developed the EFI 16 transverse seat high-lift truck. Thanks to its compact design combined with flexibly adaptable driving characteristics, it can be maneuvered safely and precisely through the narrowest aisles. Thanks to the sensitive operating functions, the driver can always control the load precisely. The EFI 16 sets new standards.
