IT landscape harmonized, intermediate transports automated

At the Ostermundigen site, Stöcklin Logistik has carried out a reorganization for Emmi Schweiz AG at the intralogistics level and has further increased the flexibility of processes. In the course of this reorganization, the StöcklinWCS (warehouse control system) was modified to meet the needs and rolled out to other functional areas. At the same time, goods transport between the two high bay warehouses - originally performed manually and thus very time-consuming - was automated within a time frame of four months. Since April 2018, this is now handled by two automated guided vehicles type EAGLE ANT.

Sustainable process solution for frozen french fries

The joint venture Lamb Weston Belaya Dacha has invested 115 million euros in the construction of a new, cutting-edge factory to produce french fries in the Russian city of Lipetsk. Attached is a deep-freeze, high-bay storage warehouse that will be used for the distribution to McDonald’s restaurants across the country—from Moscow to Murmansk.

Precisely arranged surroundings for maximum performance

Galliker Transport AG, one of Switzerland’s top 10 logistics services providers, has expanded the storage capacity in its full automatic logistics center 4, by approximately 26,200 pallet storage spaces. This newly completed high bay warehouse for ambient temperature and deep freeze storage was opened for operation in August 2017 and is distinguished by its maximum availability, operating and labor safety - designed and realized by Stöcklin Logistics. The investment is, on the one hand, a follow-up reaction to increasing demand as well as a systematically developed digitalization offensive.

High performance distribution center for GRUPO BIMBO sets new standards

Construction has commenced. After nearly two years of planning, Stöcklin, has begun realization of a fully automatic distribution center in Mexico City as general contractor for GRUPO BIMBO. In the future this automated distribution center will supply over 100 subdistribution centers and a number of major customers in the greater metropolitan area. The new distribution center for the world’s leading manufacturer of baked goods is distinguished by maximum turn-over figures while guaranteeing error-free and efficient order handling around the clock seven days a week. Moreover the Warehouse Management System including material flow computer places special requirements on the solution competency of the intralogistics system supplier.

Collaborative effort to rectify a catastrophe

The end of 2015 heavy storms had devastated wide areas in many regions of Italy. The production and logistics facilities of Pasta Rummo in Benevento in the Campania region were also affected. A team of experts put together by the company itself under the auspices of Stöcklin Logistik AG succeeded in completely renovating the heavily damaged, automated high bay warehouse and getting it back into operation within a period of only six months.
